Relish is the debut project of Randy Ellis, a co-owner and label manager of Hobo Camp Records and Voltaire Records in California, a mostly modern funk label that has also put out records by ED DMX (DMX Crew), Jonas Reinhart, Tussle, Publicist, Plaza, Egyptian Lover and others. He’s a frequent contributor/collaborator to Loose Shus and Chautauqua. His 100% vinyl sets journey deep into an abyss of new, classic, and obscure 12″ and 7″ records, with a focus toward high-end boogie, disco, two step, sweet soul, Italo, House and modern funk.
Entrepreneur-musician-artist Liz McLean Knight kept busy in her hometown of Chicago, hosting club nights and showcasing musicians and DJs from her label, subVariant. Now based in San Francisco, she continues to craft her signature blend of melodic IDM As Quantazelle and as Liz Revision her tech-house-mainly DJ sets feature dancefloor-friendly preset-avoiding tracks that continue to innovate with experimental sounds.
Run the Length of Your Wildness is a Monday night dance party brought to you by San Francisco hosts Cherushii (Chelsea Faith) and Roche (Ben Winans). As both are producers as well as DJs their bookings reflect a similar mix of artists. Both up-and-coming and established producers and DJs play their signature styles in an intimate, low-key, industry-friendly venue. Expect to hear an eclectic mix of house, disco, Italo, electro, techno, old-school rave, modern funk, and abstract instrumental hip-hop.
